What is Ayurvedic?

Ayurveda is well-known in the medical history around the world that it originated few thousands ago from the ancient India as being the oldest naturopathic system. It is mentioned that all other systems of naturopathy also orginated from Ayurveda. Ayurveda is of a complete science about how to live a balanced life . It’s concept is valid and wholesome to cover everything about life of the inner self, and of the body.

Ayur means life; Veda refers to knowledge or science. For thousands of years, many great saints and acaryas in ancient India have applied this traditonal science of holistic healing system into practice.

According to Ayurveda, although this science of life is ancient yet it is not conditioned to time and circumstances. It is taught that our health is maintained by three pillars – Vata, Pitta, Kapha developted from the 5 elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether. If these five elements are subtly disturbed to be imbalanced, it will be the main cause of all diseases; therefore for health-caring of our body, it is necessary to keep balance among all these 5 elements.. .
